TIHAN Gives Care Packages to Those in Need:
In 2016, the TIHAN office discovered a need of help for those living with HIV. They could not afford toiletries and household items on a limited salary. TIHAN then created a distribution group to create and deliver Care Packages to CarePartners living with HIV.
The care packages are filled with essential toiletry and cleaning items that can be expensive for those on a limited budget. TIHAN distributed about 70 care packages in 2016 and continue to see an increased demand for this service in 2017.
Last month, TIHAN distributed 83 care packages from their office, but they need your support to keep up with the great need.
Toilet tissue is always one of the most requested care package items, but our stock is running low. Regardless if you can donate a pack of two rolls from the grocery store, or a pack of 30 rolls from Costco – every donation can make a difference. TIHAN asks that the toilet tissue be two-ply only, please.
Other items that can be donated are listed below:
Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Shaving Cream, Disposable Razors, Cleaning Supplies, Lotion, Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Paper Towels, Laundry Detergent, and Deodorant.

Please help TIHAN help their CarePartners by donating any items you may be able to pick up. You can also donate money online; even if you can only afford to give a dollar it will make a difference.
So please help TIHAN help those in need.
*Donations can be dropped off to the TIHAN office at 2660 N. 1st Ave., Monday–Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
