Back at it again (no pun intended, okay maybe a little).
In my mid thirties I was involved in a car
accident when a semi truck driver decided to use my convertible instead of his own breaks.
I was sitting at a
red light and he didn’t notice as he came around the corner… well, no need for further detail.
Needless to say, I had to have deep tissue massages every week, physical therapy, a chiropractor
and a personal trainer. The personal trainer gave helped me rebuild my muscle strength after the others
had fixed all the issues.
Now, years later, I find myself back
in the doctor’s office for maintenance. But this time is very different.
The environment, the staff and the treatments are nothing like I have ever experienced before. I actually
want to go see them.
When I say them, I mean every one of them:
Dr. Cox, Dr. Bladow, Dr. Huls, Colleen, Stacy and Vanessa. It’s like a family reunion every time
you walk through the door. All of the clients give them hugs and they know every clients name as they come
in.
The treatments are relaxing, comfortable and usually quite
a laugh. They go beyond your expectations: They work with their clients on diet, mind/body connection,
vitamins and so much more. They really are a wellness center.
They are very gay friendly; they actually approached me about being involved with Gay Tucson and the GLBT community.
