From burgers to salmon, Colors bar and restaurant in the central part of Tucson, is a local favorite.

The owners, John and Rick are both very nice and usually one of them is there during business hours if you would like to meet them.

They showcase different gay artists on the walls of the restaurant. The pendant lights over the bar are hand made by a local artist as well.

John takes pride in his beautiful salt water tank which sits in the lounge area. I like sitting there in the comfy, leather, swivel chairs with friends for a drink and to unwind.

Colors is a great place if you want dinner and a more quiet setting. From what I've seen, they cater to a couple of different gay crowds. The dinner crowd of course, Friday being a busier night, and the after work/happy hour crowd.

They also have a Sunday brunch that is popular as well.

The restaurant opens at 4pm except on Sunday's, when they open earlier for brunch of course. You should also know that they close at 10pm in case you are thinking of going there for a late night cocktail.

Always here to help,
Tony Ray Cool
