God-es & She at Friday Block Party and Saturday Pride
 An act you won’t want to miss!
God-es & She are a hip-hop/pop/soul duo that made their first national
debut on The L Word three years ago, performing their now famous single “lick it”. And even though for many
they are a new concept, the duo has sold more than 30,000 albums and played in packed venues all over the world.
God-es & She are about to release their third studio album, and it being a production by Brian Hardgroove is
very likely that they will blow up- big time. Many believe that their new album confirms their status as an underground
act about to become mainstream.
Be sure to enjoy their songs and company at the Pride on Parade and

Ari Gold is Hot in More Ways Than One.

our generation’s great activist and true talent Ari Gold. Besides his gorgeous looks and charming voice, Ari offers real passion in each of his songs. Ari is an award winning
independent record artist and his music has been described by many as “political pop”. He rewrites the rules and
destroys taboos when in comes to his music. Gold was the first pop artist to write songs from man to man in his debut
album Ari Gold.. Almost a decade after his debut
album, Ari continues to put his talent to good use by constantly fighting for human rights and engaging in numerous activism
efforts. His song “Home” is featured in The Human Rights Campaign’s benefit album Love Rocks,
and his song "Bashert (Meant To Be)" is featured in the ACLU benefit CD Marry Me, which focuses in fighting for
the rights of same sex couples. Ari Gold will be

The Gay Pimp comes to Pride in The Desert
 This year’s Pride in the Desert will be gayer and pimpier than ever. In addition to having one of the funniest celebrities
kick things off at the Pride on Parade, a great line up of entertainers will be making this year’s Gay Pride one to
remember.
One of the best acts will be put on by Jonny McGovern. If you have no idea who McGovern is, then it’s
time to GayDucate yourself!
Jonny McGovern, also known as "The Gay Pimp", first burst into the scene
in New York City back in 2000.
His witty, funny and often times dirty act are some of the ingredients that made
his star shine brighter than others. His bold lyrics and racy videos got him the media attention he needed and he went on
to participate in many TV shows bringing "gay" mainstream.
Almost a decade after his debut The gay Pimp
continues to make Gay okay by putting out in-your face gay, self-esteem busting videos such as Lookin’ Cute/ Feelin’
Cute. McGovern has recently recruited a fierce team of back up dancers and singers fittingly known as TEAM PIMP.
 Together The Gay Pimp and TEAM PIMP will be bringing some good ‘ol gay entertainment to Pride in the Desert, and event
you won’t want to miss.
